St. Viateur Street Art

See a one-minute video of Arpi painting a mural from start to finish. I've always wanted to see the different steps that went into mural painting. You'll also see two of Montreal's finest who took part in the video. The police officers were not in their protesting camouflage and red baseball caps, so this video must have been made more than a year ago.

He does have talent, I wish the scribblers who paint our rail wagons had more imagination.

I have just discovered Arpi, and his work is wonderful. Unfortunately, my wide angle lens does not do his work justice. He actually adds architectural details that reflect the neighbourhood in his murals.

I hate the scribblers too. Here we call them taggers, and they create the bulk of our neighbourhood's eyesores.

Thanks for your comment. PS, did you see that I referred to you as my very first follower in my Ode to New York post. I was the featured blogger in the Syracuse, New York newspaper.
